Frequently Asked Questions...

Do I have to be a member to attend?
No, we welcome everyone to our worship services.  You will be recognized and showered with hugs, but you won't have to say anything.  We simply want you to come, relax, experience God, and meet other forward-focused people to connect with.

What denomination is the church?
Auburn Avenue Baptist Church was established in the 1800's as a Baptist Church. However, we embrace everyone, and welcome people of any religious background.  We endeavor to follow the pattern of worship and living as laid out in the New Testament.   Our focus is on helping people become who God created them to be THROUGH Christ Jesus.

Do you have events for various groups?
Yes.  We are in the planning stages for groundbreaking events, ministries, and projects to minister to EVERY AGE GROUP.

Will someone beg for me to give money?
No.  Giving is an act of worship for believers.  You are welcome to give an offering but are not expected to. No pressure will ever be put on anyone to give. Ultimately, it is an expression of your love relationship with God our Sustainer.

What is your worship service like?
Worship is a celebration of our relationship with the living God.  Therefore, worship should be lively and passionate.  Our music style is sometimes contemporary, traditional with hymns, and can shift at any moment by the leading of the Holy Spirit. You WILL be blessed!
